Francisco Bitar

Francisco Bitar was born on April 7, 1981 in Santa Fe. He has published close to twenty books of poetry, prose, and essays, including the novel Tambor de arranque, the short story collection Teoría y práctica, and other hybrid texts such as Historia oral de la cerveza, Mi nombre es Julio Emanuel Pasculli, and El artista. With the novel La preparación de la aventura amorosa, he began the “De ahora en adelante” series, which continued with La leyenda del muñeco de nieve and El cuerpo de un escritor. His most recent book, La muerte de César Aria, began the series “Cementerio de elefantes.” He has led the independent publishing imprint El buen desconocido since 2021.
