Eric Schierloh was born in La Plata in 1981. He is a writer, translator, and editor. He has published eight books of poetry and five novels. He translated Henry D. Thoreau, William S. Burroughts, Theodore Enslin, and Herman Melville, among others. He directs the artisanal publishing house Barba de Abejas.
